I believe that they retained the rights to any future board game versions in that deal. I suppose that APBA and the brothers could be cooking something up on that front.
I really wonder though what the market could be for a strictly board game version of anything these days. Especially given the difficulty for niche market computer text-based sports sims - those interested in a paper-based version has to be so small that even covering costs is a delusional dream.
I loved all the board games that I have played over the years but even I can't go back to them at this point in any real measure. There can't possibly be a viable market can there?
