Michael Carbajal (USA)(#8) V Koji Kobayashi (Japan)(#57)

Carbajal (left), an olympic boxing silver medallist in 1988, was a tough hard hitting fighter who held various 'World' title belts at Light Flyweight. His victories included those over Muangchai Kittikasem, Humberto Gonzalez and Melchor Cob Castro. He only suffered one career stoppage, a cuts TKO against Jacob Matlata.

Kobayashi was a talented left-handed fighter who had a short career but won the WBC Flyweight Championship of the World during his ring tenure. Koji defeated such men as Frank Cedeno, Jiro Takada, Allan Makitoki, Flash Jagdon, Jackal Maruyama and Rord Mitsuru.
