September 2011 - Milwaukee Brewers
Manager and GM Fritsche

29th September 2011

And once again it's the final series of the regular season far north at Buffalo. Both teams have not much to play for; Prince Fielder should be able to hold on his RBI lead and Brandon Webb could theoretically pass Shimizu as league win leader. But maybe I skip his start to rest him for the playoffs. I guess Webb, Bush and Snell (who would have thought that earlier in the season) are save bets for the playoff rotation. Parra, Villanueva and Hill battle for the final spot.
Fans are looking forward to some great division battles: Baltimore and Washington are tied (Boston needs a miracle to intervene); the same goes for Los Angeles and Seattle. The loser of the 2nd race will very likely collect the wild card. The Marlins lead the Mets by 3.5 games, but both teams are playoffbound, while the Dodgers and Diamondbacks are seperated by 0.5 games. The Tigers still can lose 100, while we might break our 2009 franchise record with 105 wins.
