October 2011 - Milwaukee Brewers
Manager and GM Fritsche

5th October 2011

Playoff time! But as mentioned above we got the least pleasant opponent with the Mets. They are a very mighty offensive team, and it has to be seen if our pitching is ready to face the challenge. Luckily they will be without key performers Wright and Furcal, and we might not face their toppitchers before game 3.

The game went exactly the way I feared. After four innings we trailed 9-6 and it was clear who would fare better in a slugfest. Bush picked a bad moment for his worst outing of the season.

New York leads series, 1 to 0.
