Leroy Jones (level 5) (3-2-1 1) vs. Phil Jackson – Jackson opened nicely, but then was cut over the right eye by a Jones jab, and Leroy turned the round around, 9-5, moving nicely and landing a sweet uppercut. Jackson landed a sharp hook in the 2^nd, but Jones was jabbing, rallying in the last minute, landing 14 jabs in all to steal the round, 11-8.

The 3^rd round was a dull, defensive gem. Jackson got a ripping hook home late in the round to cinch it, 8-4. The Enforcer opened the 4^th with a shot that surprised Jonesey, who dropped to the canvas

! Leroy was back up at the count of 4, choosing to cover up. Jackson kept attacking, slipping a left home that cut Jones inside the right eye! The fight was halted, and Jackson was awarded a TKO on cuts at 1:39 of the 4^th. The Jones camp was incensed

, believing they could control and stop the bleeding, but the decision goes into the books. Both men landed 69 punches, at the same efficiency level. It was a bad break for Leroy Jones, as another level 5 fighter was sent home!
