I stumbled on this today and was struck by the straightforward and casual narrative. I like the 'thinking aloud' concept and I think you're doing very well capturing the common man outlook in Jonas.

Perhaps just as interesting, for me, is maintaining that first-person perspective without having created a podium for your character. Unless I read too quickly, we know who he is only from the Dynasty or Thread Title. I like his . . . distance from himself. I have the distinct impression that by the end of his days, we will have come to know him better than he came to know himself. I find believing that, at this stage of your contributions, quite remarkable.
