-Not as easy to trade. I can never play in solo leagues because it's just too easy to get rid of bad contracts, or trade for young superstars. Even if I try to set up house rules, sometimes there is a fog of where the line of realism begins and ends. Where is the exact point that makes a trade good/bad? Should I penalize myself and never win a trade?

-Every team has it's own unique style. Some teams like veterans and some only want arb and under. Some value popular players and others don't. Some make good trade partners and others don't. Understanding what the owners are trying to do with their team gives them some personality.

-Fully customized leagues. I love browsing the online leagues just to check out the web sites, custom reports, teams, jerseys, ect. There are a lot of really creative people in this community. Although still waiting for the first league to ditch the passe forums in exchange for a sleek invite only social network that allows GM's to create their own team homepage easily

Dislikes
-GM's who take over the best possible team, brag that they are the best, quit the league when they ultimately run their team into the ground. Then join a new league with best possible team.... repeat as necessary

-GM's who offer you trades(in their best used car salesman voice) as if your as dumb as the AI. Then act surprised and frustrated when you reject, adamantly explaining to you how good of a deal it is when in reality it makes no sense and they basically want you to hand over the player(s).

-GM's who rip apart the constitution of a league trying to find any and all loop holes to gain the optimum advantage in showing off their strategy gaming prowess rather then just accepting the rules for what they are meant to be and showing good sportsmanship. After all, the commishes do enough work. They shouldn't have to write an 8 million page rulebook to cover every small detail of every possible situation.

-Participation Rewards. I've been in a league for one season and have already raised the market size by one and fan loyalty by 4 ....by doing things I would have done anyway. Meanwhile someone is probably cursing that they are forced to write articles that they don't care about just to keep up. Leagues need to be more definitive in their style. Have writing leagues and have non writing leagues. If it's a writing league then say if you don't write then you'll be replaced. If it's a non writing league then say if you want to write, knock yourself out, but nobody cares. Then cut out the participation bribes.
