The 130th World Series: New York Mets vs. New York Yankees

This is the 13th Subway Series in the 130-year history of this league. The last won was 18 years ago in 2212, in which the Yankees won. Actually, the Yankees have won most of the time vs. the Mets, being that the Yankees are 9-3 against them in the World Series. The Yankees are going for their 40th World Championship, while the Mets are going for their 10th. The Mets are the defending World Champions, by virtue of defeating the Portland Pilots last year. The Yankees' last title was five years ago in 2225 when they beat the Carolina Storm.
