There's a no win here. The Yankees babied him too much and now they are up against a wall. If he movies into the bullpen, as Joe just mentioned above, and excels, oh man, it's going to be 10x the never ending saga that it is now.
If the Yankees had just found a better way to manage his innings by planning ahead, they could have avoided this mess they are running into.
Of course, Joba isn't helping himself out either by once again failing to be effective into the fifth inning.
If it's going to be like this with the Yankees over doing this watchful eye, then just throw him in the pen.
I'm absolutely tired of this whole ordeal. I'm so sick of watching Chamberlain throw too. I hear enough about him all week and now I have to see him struggle in 4 innings? I can't wait till Ian Kennedy learns how to hit the corner consistently. Telling you, that guy is better than Joba.
