If a guy is claimed and auto pullback functions properly, the guy should not show up as CLEARED and be off the 40 man roster. He should be forced to remain on the 40 man, as well as having to be put on irrevocable waivers if he is passed through again.

Attempting to remove a player from the 40-man roster
always requires
irrevocable waivers. At least, that's how it works in the real world. Removing a player from the 40-man roster is an outright assignment, and outright assignments waivers are always irrevocable.
Unless you are talking about trade waivers, that is, allowing a player to be moved from one major league team to another. Those waivers are revocable.
