ABC Inaugural Opening Day Results!

LF Tim Hale - New York Mutuals

Left Fielder Tim Hale of the New York Mutuals got his ABC career off to a tremendous start. Hale turned in the #1 performance of that day. His day got started in the Top of the 3rd when he hit a run scoring single. He followed that up in the Top of the 6th with a 2-run homerun. Hale ended the day going 3 for 4, with 3 runs batted in and scoring 2 runs.

C Jason Stone - Philadelphia Keystones

Jason Stone went 3 for 5 today on his way to winning Player of the Game honors. Stone got his fine day going in the 6th innings when he singled home a run. Then, in the Top of the 10th, with a double, Stone ended up knocking in 2 runs, the first of which turned out to be the game winning RBI.

SP Walton Webster

Webster started out his day keeping the Nationals scoreless through 5 innings. He ended up the day going the distance, allowing 3 runs on 12 hits. It was good enough to earn him Player of the game honors.

LF Bill Gibbs

Gibbs got the Canaries' day off to a fast start with a 3-run HR in the bottom of the 1st inning. That was good enough to earn Gibbs the Player of the Game award.
