April13th-15th:
Game 1; Att: 48,757
After the now normal slow start by the starting pitcher, we fight back and take the lead with a useful 3rd innings we then add 2 more runs in the 5th and it appears the fat woman is starting to warm up. Feldman who had an average 1st innings pitched well although he did give up the only home run of the game which was the 1st of the year for Wigginton. Then the Rangers bullpen melt down began, C.J Wilson and Madrigal allowed 3 runs in the 8th and Perez forgot how to pitch has he allowed 5 runs in the 9th to blow the lead and the game for us, Walker then finished us off with a 1-2-3 in the 9th.
Game 2; Att: 49,048
McCarthy pitched a useful 7 innings for us allowing 9 hits but only 1 run and the bullpen kept it tight like they had for every game aside from the last one. Even though we were out hit by the Orioles we took advantage of the runners we got in scoring position whereas the Orioles left 12 on base and of those 5 were stranded on 3rd. Lady luck was with us tonight as on another day it could so easily been a win for the Orioles.
Game 3; Att: 48,886
The Texas run machine was in full effect tonight, we had a big 4th innings scoring 7 runs Murphy hit his 1st home run of the year during that innings. Wieters hit his 1st home run in the big league in the 6th which resulted in a 3 run rally, but aside from that the Rangers pitching stuff was on form to take us to our 6th win of the year.
