April 24th-27th
Game 1, Att: 40,825

Not a game for young pitchers to watch for pitching tips. Scott Thorman got the ball rolling with his 1st homer for the Rangers in the 3rd and Kinsler chipped in with a 2 home run game which put the game beyond doubt. Kinsler's 1st homer came in the 6th with 1 on the 2nd was a solo shot in the 8th. Freel hit his 1st homer of the year with one on in the 9th but that was it for the Orioles.
Game 2, Att: 39,664

A tight game that could've gone either way. The Orioles had their chance to win it in the 8th when Hammel and Storp combined to load the bases and walked in a run, but Perez who hasn't pitched at his best since joining us managed to get out of the jam. Marakais hit the only homer of the game in the 6th for his 4th of the year.
Game 3, Att: 39,010

Another game that could've gone either way, but I guess when you've become used to winning you have the edge in the close games. McCarthy was 1 out away from a shut out but the last hitter Scott drove in a run but was thrown out going for 3rd to end the game.
Game 4, Att: 37,646

I've put a request in to see if we can play the Orioles from now until the end of the year. It was close until the 5th, Blalock hit his 3rd homer of the year with 2 on. Harrison pitched 6 and 1/3 inns without allowing a run, there was some drama in the 7th as once again the Orioles got the bases loaded but failed to take advantage of it. The Orioles did manage a 2 run homer in the 8th from Jones, his 3rd of the year, but a 3 run top of the 9th from us firmly shut the door.
