Keystones Skipper receives Manager Award After Turn Around Season

There was little surprise when Ron Kirk of the Philadelphia Keystones was named Manager of the Year. After the Keystones finished 9-19 in 1871, they followed it up with a 17-12 campaign in 1872. This turn around helped Kirk win the award.
