Sometimes when this occurs in my leagues I tend to take it personal.
I have had 38 year old closers, who despite being on a winning team, receiving a paycheck with many commas, and not having too great of a year--(their own stats/performance), give me the "this player has indicated he will test free agency."
I usually get what I can for them at the deadline.
