First of all, this game is a dream come true for me. I've always played console baseball games and most of the fun was in the management of a franchise over long periods so I was salivating when I found ootp 8 free. But is it really free or is it a thirty day demo. If it's only a demo I'll be crushed, but then maybe I could import all my data to the new version, who knows?
