This seems like a natural evolution for the updated pitching system....Have sliders on the player strategy page for pitch distribution. ie) 60% Fastball, 30% Slider, 10% change. Then have it so the more a pitcher throws a certain pitch, the greater chance he has of reaching the peak for that pitch.
This would be great for those fringe relief prospects who are on the cusp of being starters. You'd actually have the ability to "coach" them into learning it, spending time working on the third pitch.
