You could edit the injury file,what you have to do,is go to the injury file and make sure the 4th number across(the CEI booleen) is set to 0.It's pretty tedious but easy enough.Another thing you could do,which is actually easier is to simply go into commissioner mode as soon as the injury happens and uncheck career ending in the player editor.
