THE END
: )
Well, (I think) that’s the end of this Universe. When I started it back in April my intentions had been for it to just be a “quick and dirty” Universe, where I could get my feet wet. Kind of like a practice swing. 7 months and many hours of fun later it’s done.

It kind of can be divided up into 2 halves, the first being the “Team Championship” matches (took about 2 months), with the second being the tournament to unify all the titles and have one Undisputed World Champion (took about 5 months). The second part of the Universe I ended up finding much more interesting and I put a lot more time into it.

I had a lot of fun doing it, although at times it became a bit addicting to the neglect of other life areas! It was cool to see that others have visited the site, with 3,965 being the current count! Although, I’m estimating 2-3,000 of those visits might be my own!! Still, it’s cool to see people checking it out and posting comments. Thanks to all who took the time to do so.

I’m tempted to keep this Universe going because I’d kind of like to see what happens to it in 1993. Will Mike Tyson defeat Lennox Lewis? What kind of an impact will the recently turned pro Oscar De La Hoya have? Will the undisputed World Champions manage to keep all 4 title belts unified? Does it matter if they don’t at this point? What does 1993 have in store for some of the unexpected 1992 World Champions: Sergei Artemiev, Yun-Un Chin, Jermal Hinton, and Akinobu Hiranaka? How will the World Championship matches involving Mandatory 1# Contenders turn out?

Problem is there are 5 other Universes that I’ve been really looking forward to digging into (still have to decide which one though!) Maybe, in another few years I'll pick this Universe back up.
