That is exactly what I am going to do for this world series.

There is a small trend going on for the last several years.
The past 4 world series winners (2005 ~ 2008) all had at least one Japanese player on the roster.
2005 (CWS) Iguchi
2006 (STL) Taguchi
2007 (BOS) Matsuzaka / Okajima
2008 (PHI) Taguchi
Actually, someone in Cubs organization must have realized this, and hired Taguchi (2 time WS winner, who probably had about total 20 minutes playing time in the 2 series

) this year.
Cubs did not reach the play off, because they did not put Taguchi on active roster until late September!
Now there is only one Japanese player who will play in the world series this year, and it is Matsui.
