That makes sense. I knew it was a single plane, but I couldn't remember which one. Makes those calls a little more suspect even. I remember one too (maybe one of the Hughes or Robertson pitches in the 8th) where the pitch trax showed the pitch clearly inside the left side of the box but was called a ball. Kinda the opposite of the Marte calls. Maybe the Trax got out of alignment. Or the umpire got out of alignment.
I don't really put much stock in the Pitch Trax. It is what it is - a gimmicky visual from Fox.
