It's not common at all actually. During the year, Hughes and Chamberlain were reliable enough to depend on till the 9th. They have been getting clobbered in the playoffs so Girardi doesn't trust them any longer. As for Burnett, Girardi was blasted for leaving AJ in too long during the Angels series so he's not about to make that same mistake again. Plus, there's an off-day tomorrow. With the 3 games in Philly, I doubt we see too many 2 inning saves out of Rivera so we can only hope that Chamberlain, Hughes, Robertson and/or Coke step it up. Pettitte probably won't last more than 7 innings, so we'll see in game 3.
