I'm personally ok with the move to start Blanton tomorrow night. Look at it this way if you're a Phillies fan: if Cole wins tonight, then no matter what happens tomorrow, you've got Lee pitching in Game Five against either a short rested A.J. Burnett or Chad Gaudin. I like those odds of the Phils going back to New York up 3-2 if it comes to that. Also, Blanton has been the most consistant starter all season for the Phillies, and if not for a horrible April, his ERA would be in the mid 3s instead of at 4.05 for the year. I'll take my chances with Blanton against CC, because Lee is waiting in Game Five, and it is going to be just as, if not more important, than Game Four.
