Rangers hitting in June

Season hitting so far

Rangers pitching in June

Season pitching so far

Rangers MVP so far: Ian Kinsler 12 HR's 54RBI's .300AVG. Although Ian has committed a few errors in the field he's more than made up for that when he's been at the plate, started the year in the 2 spot but is really producing the goods at the 3 spot.

Rangers Cy Young so far: Brandon McCarthy 9-2 2.78ERA 32BB 52K. McCarthy has been the one who's been on the same level all year so far, although he's tied for most wins and doesn't have as many K's as someother pitchers at the club he's just been the reliable, dependable starter.

Minor League in review:

Oklahoma RedHawks: 39-41 3GB. During the month of June the RedHawks went 17-13 as they battled hard to close ground on the New Orleans Zephyrs. They had some good wins but a period where they were swept by the Nashville Sounds hurt in the chase of the leaders. Max Ramirez(C) had a great month batting at .293 with 4 home runs and with Harrison(LF) also hitting 4 home runs to take his tally to 26 the RedHawks look in good hands offensively, pitching has been good for most of the month although the ERA is still a little high. Feliz had a good month as did Thomas Diamond.

RedHawks MVP so far: Ben Harrison(LF) 26HR's 73RBI's .327AVG

RedHawks Cy Young so far: Beau Vaughan 6-1 12 saves 4.17ERA 30BB 38K.

Frisco Rough Riders: 33-43 11GB. A 13-14 record in June didn't really help the Rough Riders, although they're only 1 game out of 2nd, the San Antonio Missions are well and truely out of sight, so I've set the Riders the goal of finishing 2nd and if they can get back in contact with the Missions that will be a happy bonus. We've got several guys here who've been producing with the bat and that isn't the problem the problem has been with the pitching. The teams record has been win 2, lose 2, win 2 and so on.

Rough Riders MVP so far: Jonathan Greene 14HR's 45RBI's .253AVG

Rough Riders Cy Young so far: Jose R. Diaz 4-0 1.91ERA 32BB 42K

Bakersfield Blaze: 38-38. 15-11 for June the record could've been better but 6 straight defeats early on really hurt them, but from the 13th they went 12-3 with an 8 run win streak in that, if they can start July the way they finished June then they'll soon be bearing down on the San Jose Giants. With the Bat it's been the case of everyone chipping in rather than 1 or 2 standouts pitching wise A.J Murray has been good going 4-1 with a 2-0 record on the month.

Blaze MVP so far: Jason Ogata 10HR's 41RBI's .232AVG

Blaze Cy Young so far: A.J.Murray 4-1 3.49ERA 22BB 60K

Hickory Crawdads: 30-46. 10-15 for the month as the Crawdads struggles continue but they're still ahead of the Delmarva Shorebirds and the aim of the Crawdads is to finish above the Shorebirds.

Crawdads MVP so far: Thomas Berkery 11HR's 42RBI's .226AVG

Crawdads Cy Young so far: Fabio Castillo 3-0 17saves 2.04ERA 26BB 58K

Spokane Indians: 2-6. Not a great start by the Indians we're hoping it's just a slow start and that they'll soon be on pace with the others in the league.

AZL Rangers: 2-1. A solid start, hopefully they'll be able to build on the 2 wins and be up there fighting for the title.
