Since these suspensions aren't realistic, I'd cut them both in half. Has nothing to do with the rivalry or whatever. They're unrealistic suspensions and it should be fixed. I haven't looked but maybe it's a txt file and can be changed.

While i do agree that the suspensions may be a little unrealistic, i am more in favor of editing what you can before the season and let whatever is going to happen to happen. Like if you dont want CEI then decide yes or no and how you will edit it before the season or when you start a league. Others may not like that way but i would find myself overruling a suspension or CEI of Joe Dimaggio while letting it stand for other players.
But then i wouldnt be against allowing for appeals. Where theres a choice. either to lose the player for 10 games now or take a chance and get it reduced to 5 games. Dont players get to play during appeals?
Anyways i would love to have a big story like that in my league.
