National Boxing Board of Review announcement

Today the National Boxing Board of Review announced that boxing is changing from its amateur status to a profesional sport. The Board have been in negotiating with the sports current top amateurs and trainers for over a year and was delighted to announce that nearly all the top amateurs on the current scene both in the US and in Europe are on board and also the board is in the process of bringing over the great amont of training talent curently within the European amateur game.
A world championship tournament will be arranged for this year and the board also announced its initial ratings for January 1920.

All the fighters will have their records tracked from their first professional fight and a list of trainers already commited to the pros are as follows.
