Game 1, Att: 48,732
A game that we could've so easily have lost, we got Penny out of the game early in the 2nd with a 7 run blitz but from that point there was only 1 team in it as the Red Sox fought back and we crumbled as we committed 4 errors allowing the Red Sox back into the game, in the top of the 9th the Red Sox had the bases loaded but failed to score a run from it, in the bottom of the 9th Papelbon's 2nd pitch was sent out the park by Teagarden for his 7th of the year, Buck hit the other home run of the game in the 3rd with 2 on for his 10th of the year.
Game 2, Att: 48,773
A tight and tense affair as we stole it 2-1. The game was a pitching duel between Feliz and Wakefield, Feliz at last showed the ability we know he has, he wasn't able to claim his 1st win in the majors but he didn't lose the game. Young drove in both our runs and Buck drove in the only Red Sox run of the game.
Game 3, Att: 48,993
Kevin Millwood produced a gem of a game as he shutout the Red Sox and gave up only 4 hits. The offence did it's job by scoring runs and slowly edging us to the win. Murphy hit the only home run of the game in the 4th for his 10th of the year.
