Piggybacking off my original post here. Sorry to bump this. I'm beginning to see what seems to be a consistent scoring error made by the game in terms of improperly awarding RBIs on run-scoring plays when an error is made by a fielder.

In a somewhat similar play to my original post, I had bases loaded with two outs. My batter hit a slow chopper down the first base line, which the pitcher fielded. The pitcher made a bad throw to first base that the PbP announced went out of play and into the stands, allowing the runners from second and third to both score (The game log shows this play as "Reached on error, E1 (Groundball, 23)").

The batter was awarded two RBIs for the two runs scoring on the play, but it should be noted that he was not credited with a hit. So, check your scoring rules if you'd like, but there should be no RBI awarded in this situation if the runners score by virtue of a straight error with two outs.

I know this is pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things and that the developers don't exactly consider this type of minute scoring mistake a hugely pressing concern, but as a self-admitted stickler for this stuff, I would really love to see future versions of the game fix this for greater statistical accuracy. I would hate to see a situation where someone wins an RBI championship on an RBI awarded on a two-out error.

Thanks for looking into this, guys.
