Friday Night Fights

WW: Bobby Dykes 14-0-3 (3) TKO 7 Juan Salazar 9-10-2 (3)
Dykes looked very good and scored knockdowns in rounds 6 and 7 before the referee stepped in. Dykes moves to #10.

MW: Rocky Castellani 17-1-2 (4) UD 8 Julio Medina 9-10-2 (2)
Castellani scored a knockdown in the 3rd and in general was the better fighter, but was not impressive. Castellani remains #8 in the middleweights.

HW: Embrell Davidson 8-0 (5) SD 8 Jason Tobitt 12-14 (10)
Unimpressive perfomance from Davidson as two knockdowns was the only thing standing between him and a loss.

LHW: Bob Foxworth 14-0 (12) KO 1 George Crawford 10-8 (3)
No trouble for Foxworth who finishes the fight in 2 minutes and 51 seconds. The hard-hitting light-heavyweight remains ranked #7.

MW: Walter Cartier 15-1-1 (6) Draw Jimmy Flood 8-1-1 (3)
A close back and forward fight ends with a fair draw, although if one should have gotten the win it would have been Cartier, who remains at #12, while Flood joins the middleweight ranks at #39.

Main Event

LHW: Oakland Billy Smith 17-0 (6) TKO 5 Victor Brown 12-8-2 (3)
After three tough rounds for Smith, he took control in the 4th and hammered Brown till the referee ended it in the 5th. "Boardwalk" remains #3.
