Brooklyn Announces Name And Uniform Changes

February 2, 1875

The Brooklyn Atlantics have announced that they are changing their team's name going into the 1875 season. They will now be known as the Brooklyn Superbas. Along with the name change, they're also unveiling new uniforms. The ABC League Office is allowing the club to discontinue the ABC trademark 'tie' uniform and go with a new 'panel' style uniform.
