August 17th-20th
Game 1, Att: 48,823

Another game that had the heart rate beating faster in the Rangers dugout. It was touch and go until the 7th where we scored 5 and looked as if we'd wrapped the game up, but it wouldn't be a Rangers game unless we give up late inning runs. Feliz probably had his worst performance since his call up yet managed to pick up the win. Saltalamacchia became the latest Ranger batter to get into double figures regarding home runs when he hit his 10th of the year in the 2nd and Hamilton got his 13th of the year in the 7th with 2 on, for Minnesota Kubel got his 15th of the year in the 9th and it was a GRAND SLAM.
Game 2, Att: 48,946

Once again we almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory but we managed to rally in the 9th to claim the win on another day Minnesota would've won but leaving runners in scoring position proved costly for them today.
Game 3, Att: 48,615

We're fastly becoming experts in these last minute escapes, like yesterday we were behind going into the 9th but again we took the win. Feldman pitched well until he gave up 3 runs in the 7th, but Gabbard and Hammel did a great containing job and Wilson pitched a perfect 9th. Then with Murphy and German out and Harrison on base it looked like extra innings but Andrus drove in Harrison, Cruz was then hit by a pitch so Andrus moved over to 2nd and Kinsler stepped up and drove in the winning run.
Game 4, Att: 48,643

Again Minnesota score in the 1st, but from then on they were shutout. We replied with 3 in the 2nd with Teagarden getting his 8th of the year with 1 on , we added another run in the 5th and that was the end of the scoring. Our pitchers played well today and Strop recorded his 4th save of the year.
