Bear was on hand, cautioning Savarese to fight as a boxer and not try to match salvos with Maskaev

Lou got Oleg’s attention early on with a double hook, moving to an early lead. He was landing as well with uppercuts, and had Maskaev clinching in the second minute. Oleg took the lead with a sizzling combination, but Low came back at round’s end with an eye-popping uppercut

Neither man could get anything going in the opening minute of the 2^nd. Maskaev, frustrated by Savarese’s defense, tried an uppercut from way outside. It missed, and Lou countered with a bone-crushing cross
