Marciano winning back the title was my only motivatiion to bring Liston into the uni. I guess I can get away with it because it's "A Partial Eclipse".
The ideal situation would be a Marciano-Liston match at the end of 1958 or early 1959, but much of this depends on Rocky's ability to hold on to the crown. If he gets by Patterson in April, he'll be facing at least one (perhaps two) top guns. A loss along the way would most likely send him back into retirement.
Fair warning to the many Liston fans who follow this uni. Sonny is only doing a "cameo" role here. After all, the whole idea of the uni is what the heavyweight division would have been like had he been out of the picture
