The funny thing about that is.. I thought Cutler was best in 2007, as a passer. His scrambling developed a bit for 2008, and our line got better.. so the lack of sacks and the big yardage number really overrates his 2008 season.
Well, that's what I'm saying. He's playing just like he did last year but he's on a much less talented team this year. So it's not surprising that he's struggling because what made him good last year was the team around him, not himself. He was overrated and Denver did the smart thin in trading him while his value was as high as it was ever gonna get.
