Lots of information in this post. First off, Boston Doves LF Chris Hughes has won the 1910 NL batting title with a .343 average.

Also, the 1910 World Series matchups have been set, with the Boston Doves taking on the Washington Senators to determine who will be the world champions.

Other Doves players among the league leaders:

1B Chang-lit Zhang finished 2nd in RBI with 71.
LF Chris Hughes also led the league in OPS with an .881 mark.
Christy Mathewson tied for the lead in wins with 26.
Walter Johnson led the league in K's with 241.
Hughes also led the league in triples with 15.
Ted Easterly set a major league record for strikeouts by a hitter with 132.


Other records to fall this year:

Chicago White Sox pitcher Jimmy Garrison set the single-season saves mark with 25. Rube Kroh tied the previous record of 19 this year as well. Joe Harris had set the mark last year.
