Boston Doves pitcher Chief Bender won his 200th game today. Bender may well be the fastest player to reach the milestone, as he turned 27 less than a week ago. Bender achieved the milestone with a 5-2 complete game win over Cincinnati. Bender now has a career record of 200-130. He also currently holds the Major League record with a 1.98 career ERA, capped by a single-season record of 1.18 in 1907.
