Baseball America's Top 10 in 1876

April 7, 1876

Baseball America released their Top 100 Prospects list for 1876. Here is the Top 10.

1. SP Curt Young - Washington Nationals
Young repeats as the #1 prospect this year.


2. SP Adrian Miranda - Baltimore Orioles
Miranda was the #1 overall pick in the 1875 draft.


3. SP Jimmy Wilson - Brooklyn Superbas
Wilson was the #2 overall selection in last year's draft.


4. SP Mark Pittman - Philadelphia Keystones
This is Pittman's 4th year on the list. Last year he was #3.


5. SP Ricky Armstrong - Brooklyn Superbas
Armstrong was #4 on this list last year.


6. SP Randy Miller - Brooklyn Superbas
Armstrong drops down from 5th on the list last year. This is his 5th year on make the list.


7. MR Ryan Johnson - New York Mutuals
Johnson has been on the list every year since it has been published.


8. SP Zack Ammerman - Cincinnati Reds
Ammerman was picked 4th overall last year.


9. SP Brandon House - Brooklyn Superbas
The 4th Superba to make the list, House drops from 8th last year.


10. SP Alfredo Zamora - Philadelphia Keystones
Zamora was the 9th overall pick in the 1872 draft. This is his first time cracking the Top 10.
