SS Leivi Ventura - Charlotte: .533, 3 HR, 9 RBI (.313, 6 HR, 25 RBI)

National League Player of the Week:
CF Cedric Hunter - San Diego: .556, 1 HR, 5 RBI (.303, 3 HR, 42 RBI)

We extended the contract of IF Tripper Johnson (.423, 1 HR, 3 RBI) for 2 years. He is guaranteed $850,000 in that span.

IF Justin Upton (.235, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 4 SB) is activated from the DL. For the moment we sent clutch hitting prospect IF Billy Grant (.375, 1 HR, 10 RBI) back to Regina to get regular playing time. Trading Upton for bullpen help might be an option.
