(Some eras may have automatic occuring events to ensure the universe can continue. As the game currently has no bare knuckle expansion rules this is one of those automatic events that must occur).

One thing you might want to consider within the 1950s was the Cold War effect. With the threat of Communisim after WWII, there were some obvious implications. First the division of Europe between democracies and dictatorship, eliminated professional sports in Eastern Europe and spawned an influx of refugees (a number of boxers) into the free world.
Second, and perhaps of greater consequence for boxing, was Castro's communist takeover of Cuba. As we all know, Cuba was a mecca for professional boxing until it was banned shortly after Castro seized power.
In my two career sims, Teophilo Stevenson and Laszlo Papp, I made an effort to factor in actual historical events (Rakosi's Communinst repression in Hungary and Castro's foreign policy). Of course I planned to incroporate these into the career sims to shape the direction of each.
But by randomizing these sort of events, I really think you're on to something and look forward to watching how you develop the idea.
