World Lightweight Title

Jack McAuliffe (35-5-1)(26)(Holder) V Stanton Abbott (10-3-0)(10)

The first meeting between the pair and a huge step up in class for Abbot.

Both fighters look in good condition as they enter the ring.

Round 1 - McAullife (left)starts well landly quick right hands whilst on the move. McAuliffe 10 - 9.

Round 2 - McAuliffe lands at will, he pops Abbott (right) from distance for the entire round before landing a thunderous right cross, referee Regan looks into Abbot's eyes and doesn't like what he sees, the fight is over!

Some at ringside complain that Regan was too hasty in stopping the fight but the gulf in class between the two was huge.
