Once again, I have to hand it to fhomess. His hard work makes OOTP's #1 utility suite better than ever. The modest enhancement list he included in his post features the highlights, but it doesn't even begin to cover everything that's crammed into this new edition. Just to add to what you can expect:
- Easier post-sims thanks to Metrics and widget generation buttons added to main admin page.
- The Metrics player page now allows you to search for a player by name.
- Contract Details page which shows the player's current contract, any incentives and whether or not a no-trade clause is included.
- VORP, wOBA and HLD statistics now show on All-Star ballot.
- The Milestones page now displays a player's distance from the all-time record if they're closer to that than to a milestone.
- A glossary link at the bottom of each player page will bring a user to a page describing any stat headings they don't understand.
- And as fhomess said, more!
StatsLab is an absolutely invaluable tool and I cannot recommend it enough. Any league, solo or online, will benefit from its usage. If you're already using it, get this upgrade to enjoy all the benefits. If you've yet to try StatsLab, now is the time to take the plunge!
