I run an online league and I consider this cheating. But simming ahead to test is extremely important and not doing so borders on irresponsibility. I sim ahead at the start of every season and I have simmed out 50+ years of my league around 10 times. I can't state enough how important these sims are. You can get a good idea of how your feeder leagues are spitting players out, if your TCR is too high or too low, how injuries effect players careers. There are so many things you can learn about the integrity of your league from these sims. I think running test sims is very important. Besides if you have your TCR around 100 and injuries at OOTP normal or low it is pretty much a guarantee that players will not do what you expect *if* you are doing this to cheat. I always let members of my league know what I am doing the testing for. I have asked my GM's if they want complete transparency to see what I see and almost all of the GM's didn't want to see it.

I say do the test sims, let the league know what is going on but don't control your team. Put everything on CPU control and let it play out.
