Looks like it did die out again...unless there is a newer thread out there I didn't see.
Just looked at my current league wide stats (96 games into the season).
Pinch hitters:
1,760 AB
280 H
10 HR
624 K
.159 AVE
35% K percentage
Pitchers batting:
2,647 AB
272 H
3 HR
1,114 K
.103 AVE
42% K percentage
So there is some benefit to hitting for a pitcher, but seems like there should be a bigger difference.
