10/1/1907 - Finishing Strong
Ok, maybe there is something to a bench clearing brawl after all. It seems like the brawl was the turning point of the season. Post brawl we have won 26 of 31 games. Sure it is too little too late, but we have a real shot at finishing above .500 for the season, and showing some progress. After a couple of rough months progress is nice to see.
Yes, we have some holes, but I'm starting to see some good signs. SS Donie Bush had a great month, and I have a good problem at first base, with a trio of guys I can throw out there and I'm comfortable with any of them playing. Maybe there is some hope in Boston.
