A tremendous storyline I think here. The team most people thought was the best from the inaugural draft finally gets its first division title and goes up against the team that has won it's division all six seasons of the PBL but can never win the big one.
Reality is, the Northern League East just isn't particularly good. New York went 49-23 against their division (including a baffling 17-1 against Philadelphia)...48-42 against everyone else. They're probably without Joe Morgan until at least a game 6 if it goes that far. I will be shocked if the Heroes don't fall yet again.
Chicago fell 2 wins shy of Wichita's PBL record 108, set in the inaugural season of 2009. Babe Ruth hit 12 homers in September to take the PBL homer crown. They are firing on all cylinders right now.
