Levi Meyerle- The leagues first MVH in 1871, Levi put together a great 9 year career, and, 5 years after retiring is still has the highest VORP of all retired players, 10 current players have higher VORP's.
Nominated but not inducted- Joe Start was an excellent fielder, and one of the better offensive first basemen in the first years.
