It's so weird. It worked for the first few days of free agency. Then stopped working. Then it started working again.
It started working after I attempted to create another FTP connection in a different league. That connection I set up worked, so then I went back into the online league and tried that one, and it worked too. I don't know if that was just a coincidence or what. I'm sure I was doing something differently and just didn't realize it. Oh well.
I can't believe you'd never heard of that error message. Leave it to me to be the first user in history to get that.
