Just think: you draft a rickety old geezer and he "youths" into a young superstar years, uh, later...

I think I need a new hobby.
That one would be very hard to do with OOTP. You'd have to manually change guys' birthdays each year or something. I would consider simply flipping the Lahman database, though, so that players debuting in 2002 appear in 1901 (or even 1871), and starting from there. You'd probably need to start with just a few teams, though, since there wouldn't be many players (just the 2002 rookies). Or you could just start with all the rookies from the past several years.

A couple of variations:
An old timer league where the guys start in the year they retired. Guys who went down early with injury would be at an advantage, while great players who played a long time would start out as old men and quickly become worthless.

The same thing, but adjusting ages so that they're all 18 when they start.
