That's just it ... if Paul goes anywhere besides the Lakers, that's simply ironclad proof that Stern and the owners are going to basically game the system as they see fit.
And where does it stop? Stern has veto power over ALL trades, not just ones involving the Hornets. Are any attempts by traditionally strong teams to improve themselves going to be met with the same roadblock?
