Perhaps there could be a sub-menu like Cephasjames mentioned about the beard that could "ask" the placement - on the right or left.

That's why I mentioned something about the ability to turn it on or off in the Global Setup. Some may want to use this feature and then there are others who (like yourself Cooleyvol) may choose to play the game without the number showing on the jersey.
